Guru Service – What is it?
Keyva’s Guru Service is scheduled access to engineering and architectural assistance for Kong Enterprise. Far more than simple L1 or L2 support, Guru Service is designed to keep your team productive and give you a wide array of assistance when you need it. Here are some examples of how our clients are using Keyva’s Guru Service:
Guru Service for Kong Enterprise is a yearly, subscription-based support service. There are currently 3 subscription tiers: basic, pro, and enterprise. The tiers are differentiated by service level agreement consisting of: our scheduling response time to you, the granularity of scheduling time (as little as 1 hour to 8 hour blocks), and scheduling prioritization. When you subscribe for Guru Service you will receive a login to our client support portal which acts as your gateway to schedule time with an expert. Simply schedule what you need and when you need it. If we have questions we will work with you to affirm the specific needs you have and then confirm a time with you for support via teleconference which you will receive as a calendar invite. Upon conclusion of our scheduled guru time your support request will be moved into a completed state and include any related collateral or information from your request.
Keyva’s Guru Services are designed to strike a balance between the need for assistance beyond simple vendor break-fix support and the budgetary constraints of a modern IT organization. We created our Guru Services offerings based on feedback from our clients. They posed us with a challenge: Find a way to help our organization get ahead on a day-to-day basis, when we don’t need a resident consultant, when we don’t have a defined project, when we don’t need a bucket of consulting hours, but we still need to get through challenges as they arise. Guru Services are designed specifically to fit within your overall IT staffing and support strategy. It can fill the gaps for you as they pop-up in the availability of your people – cover for you during PTO or sick leave, and provide you with specific expertise and guidance as you need it all within a defined, predictable support structure.
